Travelers Among Mountains and Streams
The artwork is a piece of cloth mounted at the back of a truck as a tent. The size of this cloth is the same as the painting of Fan K'uan in Sung Dynasty, "Travelers Among Mountains and Streams".The cloth vaguely reveals the content of the original painting.
In this exhibition, the artwork is carried by the truck going through the concrete jungle as if goods were carried by pack animals through forests and mountains in the ancient China.
As the truck stops by in the neighbourhood, the art piece is spread open as a shelter wherein workers can take a rest and enjoy the landscape on the art piece instead of skyscrapers and buildings in the city.
